What is Kachingly?

Kachingly is a WordPress plugin + iOS companion app that gives you daily P&L (Profit & Loss) reports for your WooCommerce store. It auto-pulls ad spend data from Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) and combines it with your WooCommerce sales to show real net profit, ROAS, ROI, and payment method breakdowns.

Do I need the WordPress plugin to use the iOS app?

Yes. The iOS app is a companion to the Kachingly WordPress plugin. You must have:

  1. A WordPress site with WooCommerce installed
  2. The Kachingly plugin v1.3.0 or later installed and activated
  3. Meta Ads connected (System User token configured in plugin Settings)
  4. A Secret Key generated in Kachingly Settings → Widget/API tab

Where do I get the Secret Key?

In your WordPress admin: Kachingly → Settings → Widget / API tab → “Secret Key” field. The plugin auto-generates a 40-character key on first save. You can regenerate by ticking “Jana key baru” in the same page.

The app says “Tak boleh baca response” — what does that mean?

This usually means your hosting provider’s bot protection (Imunify360, Wordfence, Cloudflare) is blocking the app’s REST API requests. Common with Cloudways-hosted sites.

Fix: Whitelist the URL pattern /wp-json/kachingly/v1/* in your security plugin or hosting firewall.

For Cloudways users: open a support ticket asking them to whitelist /wp-json/kachingly/v1/* from Imunify360 bot protection. Usually resolved in 30 minutes.

Is my data sent to your servers?

No. All data flows directly between your iPhone and your own WordPress site. We never see your sales numbers, customers, or store credentials.

Can I connect multiple WooCommerce stores?

Yes. The app supports unlimited sites. Tap + Tambah Site on the main screen to add another store. Each site stores its credentials separately.

Does the app work offline?

Partially. Cached summary data from the last successful sync displays offline. Pull-to-refresh requires internet to fetch latest numbers.

Why is the Sync Meta button slow?

The Sync button triggers a call from your WordPress to Meta’s Graph API to fetch latest ad spend data — typically 10-30 seconds depending on date range. The app waits up to 90 seconds before timing out.

Dark mode looks weird

Toggle the appearance mode in the top-right corner of the main screen. Cycles through Auto (follow system) / Light / Dark.
